The DS-160 is the online nonimmigrant visa application form for the U.S. Once submitted, it generates a confirmation number in the format AA00XXXXXX.

When scheduling your U.S. embassy appointment, this exact number must be entered correctly in your profile on usvisa-info.com, because:

• The consular officer can only access the DS-160 linked to that specific number.

• If there’s a mismatch, your appointment may be canceled or delayed.

If you've submitted a new DS-160 form, you must update the confirmation number in your visa profile before your interview date. Note:
